Medical Education
Dr. Alvarez earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Chicago and went on to receive advanced fellowship training in aesthetic surgery, with a focus on facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and breast procedures.

When he’s not in the operating room or consulting with patients, Dr. Alvarez enjoys fine art photography, travel, and spending time with his family. He’s passionate about medical mission work and regularly volunteers his skills in underserved communities.
